Aurora Kakadu “Nature at your door”

We moved on to Aurora Kakadu Hotel and Van Park. The campgrounds were lovely and green; it is just before you enter Kakadu. You could park wherever you wanted. Great we loved that idea. We chose a spot at the back of the camp away from all the camper trailers with the children. 

It is an interesting set up as there are about 30 powered sites but there is only one price, $20 a night. If you get in early you get the power. There were fire pits everywhere and the wood is supplied. As Aurora is also a hotel there was a pool with a spa. Nice.

We chose to stay here and travel into Kakadu for the first two days.
